PCC/MCC Panel
- The MCC shall be metal clad, totally enclosed, rigid floor standing, single front, air insulated, cubicle type boards fitted with fuse switch units and fixed type starter modules for use on a 415V, 3 Phase and neutral, 50 Hz, system with a fault level of 50 kA symmetrical for a control voltage of 240V, 50 Hz
- The structure shall be mounted on a rigid base frame of folded sheet steel of minimum 6 mm thickness or MS channels and 75 mm This shall be painted dark black after pre-treatment.
- MCC panels shall be of single front.
- An adequately rated earthing bus of Aluminium shall run throughout the full length of the MCC Panel at the bottom. It shall be possible to earth the MCC at two independent points with cable eyes.
- Lifting eyes for each shipping section and danger notice plates shall be provided for each MCC panels.
- All steel work used in the construction of the MCC panels shall undergone a rigorous metal treatment process and then coated with two coats of highly corrosion resistant primer and two finishing coat of stoving synthetic enamel paint. The total thickness of paint shall not be less than 50 microns. color of Paint shall be Light Grey, Code-7035 as per Standard approved Shed IS: 5, 1978 (1991).
All MCC panel shall be made with 7th tank process and powder coated technology.
